Scholarly Panels — Call for Abstracts   

We invite abstract submissions (200–300 words) for scholarly presentations on any topic related to the morin khuur. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
  • Performance practice and pedagogy
  • Construction and acoustics of the instrument
  • History, repertoire, and innovation
  • Cultural identity and transmission
  • Comparative or interdisciplinary perspectives
Abstracts may be submitted in English or Mongolian. Presentations should be 20 minutes in length, followed by discussion. Translation services will be provided.
